Bobbie Edwards named Unique by Design Administrative
Manager

Bobbie recently relocated to her home state of Georgia,
after living in Florida for four years. She is a long-time friend of Diane’s
and has been an active supporter in various areas of Truelight International
since its beginning. While living in
Pickens County in the mid-90’s, Bobbie was associated with Georgia Mountains
Hospice, doing volunteer and part-time work. She was the Executive Secretary for Pickens County Family Connection,
and also served on the Council for Child Abuse.
Being
a resident of the community for seven years, and a Realtor in the area for six
years, Bobbie saw the tremendous growth moving to Jasper and Pickens County and
since many new business owners were women, she realized the possibilities and
opportunities that lie ahead. It was
then that vision of the Business
Women’s Association became a reality and after a time, the group was redefined
as The Christian Business Women’s Association and as such became another outreach
ministry for Unique by Design.
Bobbie’s
volunteer work extended to Gulf County Florida where she lived for four
years. Her interest in the arts led her
to become involved in the Arts Alliance, as well as other civic functions, such
as community improvement and local charities. She still holds her Realtor license in both states with ten years
combined experience.
The
Personal and Professional Growth seminar was the original vision of Unique by
Design, and after completing the course, Bobbie says, “It was a life-changing
experience and a new beginning for me – it has been a constant source of
support and encouragement over the years, to me and countless others.”
In
addition to her administrative duties within the ministry, Bobbie would like to
work with women in recovery in the Bartow County area where she now resides.
