Colleen Swanson has been a born-again believer since she was eleven years old. She is currently an educator at Towns County Elementary School experiencing a rewarding career serving as the librarian/media specialist. She enjoys reading and studying the Bible and books on leadership, daily devotionals, Bible studies, and reading works by Christian authors. Colleen has completed several Bible study courses, attended a Tres Dias conference with the North Georgia area, and partners with others to sponsor ladies meetings. She has served the Aglow International on the local level for five (5) years. She is currently serving Aglow in Georgia on the state level. Colleen met Diane Hale over four years ago at an Aglow meeting. She has attended several of Diane’s conferences and workshops. She had the privilege of traveling with Diane to England this past October 12-November 2, 2010. They had a wonderful spiritual journey as they traveled and visited with friends and churches throughout England. Each day was met with a new visitation of the Holy Spirit during daily devotional time and church meetings. Colleen lives in Blairsville, Georgia with her husband Larry. They have three (3) children and eight (8) grandchildren.
