Each time the golden ring of peace leaps within reach, from some dark corner of the earth the storm blasts, the wind roars, and the tempest turns the hearts of men back into darkness. We long for that time — past and hidden, yet still strangely stirring within man’s soul — to days long ago, when all was at rest and joy was the breath of life.
